Art Center Nabi aims to act as an intermediary that transforms cultural desires into vital activities. Our goal is formed around the idea of humanising technology and that technology is fully integrated with human cultural life, to open a new space for creative practices. This can be achieved only after the fruitful collaboration and understanding among science, technology, humanities, and arts. Thus, Art Center Nabi maintains the following three ideas; being a ‘critique’ of contemporary culture independent from technological benefits; possessing ‘creativity’ which opens people’s mind to regard a new perspective and enables a new form of expression; creating ‘community’ where these ideas are shared and the new world is dreamed of. Art Center Nabi is at the center of this new culture, where artistic sensibility is combined with the technological possibility to bring out the power of change and creativity.

Bang & Lee is an artist duo based in Seoul, South Korea. For over fifteen years, the collective has worked with a wide range of new media, immersive space, and site-specific projects in South Korea and abroad. They have been part of numerous projects in different venues, including media art installations, research-based experiments, social plays, and commissions for heritage sites. Their projects mainly involve assemblage, interactive light sculptures, tangible instruments, computer-generated montage, and stage technology. The penetrating theme of their works, which revolves around absurdity and paradox, is expressed via immersive media incorporating various historical references, fictions, and emerging notions of media and technology, with particular emphasis on the unique interpretation of collaboration and friendship. Their works have been exhibited at Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe, Germany, MAXXI in Rome, Italy, La Friche Belle de Mai in Marseilles, France, Beijing Commune and MoCA Shanghai, China, Nam June Paik Art Center in Yongin, Seoul Museum of Art, Arko Art Center, Art Center Nabi, Alternative Space Loop, Total Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul, Korea, Digital Art Center in Taipei, Taiwan, and Nafasi Art Space in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
